Does anyone have any experience with either of these different lift kits? I was originally considering the Bulletproof as it allows you to return to stock (no cutting of the 'ear' from the front diff housing) but that is becoming less important as I don't see ever going back to stock.
I'd like to hear some pros and cons from anyone who has dealt with either of these kits or even had dealings with the two companies. With the rapid demise of Fabtech and their quality I would prefer to avoid getting a kit from a company whose customer service sucks and product quality has gone down.
Thanks in advance,
Dan

Bulletproof Customer Service sucks! Same with Fabtech's CS.
...looks like you're going really biug with your lift. The only thing I can add, is that I had a Rancho lifted H2. It now sits on 38's with another member.
If you are going to go big/ like with the Cognito kit, you will want to look at the all the steering support, upper A arm, tierods, and big brake kit. I would factor that into your build cost.

Timg,
Tie rods are covered with the DMax Kryptonites, I've got the Cognito support kit with new Moog idler and pitman arms, might do a new steering link, looking at either a Brembo BBK or possibly another as replacement Brembo pads are $$$ and I'm also considering 4.88s to make up for the 40's that will go on.
Appreciate the feedback.

I have the Fabtech lift combined with a small spring spacer in the rear and new torsion keys in the front to give a little more lift. The truck probably has about 7-8 inches of lift on it now, and I can tell you that my 38's almost look small. I think that was the point that Timgco was making. With the amount of lift you're talking about, 40's are gonna look really small.

I run 40's on mine with a Rancho lift, and Truxxx keys and Truxxx 1.25 spacer.
