does anyone know how to reset the bluestar besides pulling the battery cable? every once in a while the unit will lock up. the green light stays lite but the phone is not connected. thanks in advance.

also, has anyone upgraded from the older version bluestar to bluestar2010 and was there any added benefits?

I had luck with that system...required frequent resets. I switched to the blue fusion by Scosche. It is much more reliable, much easier to install and streams music from my iPhone perfectly. My advice...google the blue fusion system.:perfect10s:

Just ran into the same problem. Took my H2 into the shop and the killed my battery. (left key on) After recharging battery, the rear doors wouldn't lock and my bluestar wasn't working. I found that pulling the relays for the rear doors and reinstalling them fixed the problem. Faulty relays, need replacing. Hope it works for you.

This may be a dumb question...but what the hell is 'bluestar?' Are you talking about OnStar?

UPDATE: Nevermind...I found it on Google.

I would highly recommend blue fusion, never had any problems locking up or losing connection.

delh2....i just read up on the blue fushion and it seems to have so many more options than the bluestar. the only question i have is do you have to use the microphone that comes with it? btw thanks for the info on the blue fusion.

The blue fusion is quite easy to set-up, basic plug and play to your current XM mdoule, from there just run the microphone up the pillar to the head liner and place it close to you as possible. I put the mic next to my rearview mirror. Best part of it, is bluetooth streaming music from your iPhone!

Just remove the glovebox and it's right there
