where to mount ballast!!!

my current set up is hid headlights and 4 piaa 520 roof lights (halogen)

i have 4 more piaa 520s converted to 6k 55w hid. and delta foglights converted with 8k 35w hids.

my problem is what do i do with the ballast, since they are conversions the ballasts are not inside the lights. so i need to find a place to mount 4 ballast and 2 more for the foglights.

im not very familiar with under the hood of the h2's so any suggestions would be awsome as i can not see anywhere that would really work for mounting

Where are you mounting the lights?? Roof rack (under the rack) or on a grill guard (either side of the radiator in the engine bay).

For the fogs, you can take the bumper off and separate it. Mount the ballast in there. That's where mine are. I have hid fogs as well.

Do you have one piece ballast or two piece?

They are going on the grille. I don't see much room in the engine bay.

I have delta fogs converted like yours. I need to find a place for those ballast as well... but im not sure where you are talking about?

Talk about timing. I just put mine back on two days ago. No pics for you.... :(

The black bumper piece between the upper grill and lower metal bumper needs to come off. You'll remove lower bumper then remove mid bumper (the piece fogs are in).

Once that's off, you'll look at the back side and see there is an insert that can be pulled out. There's room in there to mount your ballasts. Mine are zip tied to the insert, so when you put it back together you see the zip tie that's holding the ballast on the inside of the bumper.

It should make sense once you get it apart and are looking at it.

Is it the piece with holes in it right under the grille?

No that piece snaps out (red x in my pic). Doing so is step one to removing the bumper.

Identified in my pic with a red x. Remove. It pulls straight out. No bolts or nuts to remove.

Identified in my pic by red arrow, remove. 2 bolts under car 2 bolts under plastic plugs located on piece in my pic outlined in yellow. The same piece that holds your fog lights.

Once red arrow is removed you'll see on the back side a row of 13 mm bolts. These are the yellow arrows in my pic This is how you separate yellow outlined piece from red arrow piece.

From there I don't have pics or details but it should be self explanatory on how to separate the yellow outlined piece.

Come to think of it, you can probably mount your other 4 ballasts in there. For a total of six. Let us know..... Maybe not. You loose a lot of space to red x piece.
