Thanks for the warm welcome http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I get it back from the dealer tomorrow night. I will take some pics after I get the mud terrains on. I guess I'm undecided on the 315's. and I pilfered the 285 MT's off the Land Rover, which are just sitting in the garage.
Hey, has anybody gotten the seat covers from Hummer? They are 'stormcloth' or similar, a heavy denier canvas and fit like a glove. much better than Cabela's or whatever. a little pricey, but I'll have some input manana. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
Torsion bar= you will need a 1 1/16" socket and a breaker bar. follow the torsion bar back until it ends. that bolt is the one to turn, it's big and easily accessible. also helps to jack up the front end by the frame. pretty easy with the breaker bar, I about killed myself before I smarted up and got it out. try to do both sides the same number of turns. can't help you as far as warranty, ride quality, etc, but it looks much better. I didn't notice a difference in ride.

I would have actually shot my Land Rover too!
But it never seemed to run long enough to drive out on the terget range. Mine was a 2003 Freelander SE3. Thank got I traded in on a new H3.
I will NEVER own a Land Rover ever again. That is just one other company the the stuggling Ford moteor company needs to fix
Gets a lot better gas milage, eh

WELCOME!
No need for a breaker bar, just a little leverage. draw a line on the bolt head and washer so you can tell each time you make a full turn. I turned mine 2.5 times, now it sits pretty level. AWESOME!

I went to the Land Rover Forum, and I saw alot of complaints of poor customer service and alot of vehicle problems, in short if you buy a Land rover, you are in for a life of huge repair bills and snobby dealers.
