On Star Monthly Reports on Oil...

For those keeping on star. When you get your monthly status reports do you mind the oil status percentile for changes?

Mine just came in @ 69% and I generally go by my odometer. Wondering what others are doing.

I run Mobil 1 Synthetic in all my vehicles and have always gone by the oil life meter. It is always over the 3k typical oil change mark but with a good full synthetic and decent driving habits the oil will definitely last longer.

Im using mobil 1 also I change it between 5k and 6k depending on amount im towing.
It works out to 50% left with onstar
Going by onstar you can get between 10k to 12 K out of the oil .

Sounds like there is some slack B4 my next oil change...

The On Star gives a good cross check against other service reminders and intervals.
