Thanks!

I haven't seen a 12" sub that has installation depth less than 4" (I think it was 3 1/4" or so) and need .6 - .8 cubic feet space. Somebody could even fit two of these under back seat... http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

i know i have posted this before but i dont want any of you to buy that junk and get ripped off. the stereo shop i do my work at has tried every and all shallow mount woffers and they all suck. i even asked about the one you posted, they said garbage. of coarse we (stereo shop and I) are talkin about real base some of you might have different tastes but clean deep base no way!

I would have to agree with you for the simple fact that sound reproduction is done thru vibration. The throw of a speaker cone reproduces the vibration with movement. So, if 1=2+3, then long throw+large diameter=true bass repoduction. Anything less is a compromise,at best.

Do you guys know how much there is room to work with? I mean how deep drivers can be used?

Thanks!
