I tried to replace the H3 wimpy horn yesterday.Once you remove bolt that holds it in place, then you have to remove bottom plastic grill to get it out.I hooked up new horn, was louder but had that Toyota twang.I decided to put old horn back in ,but now it doesnt work at all.Any IDEAS.

Is the screw/bolt giving a good ground for the horn? Maybe the twanging horn blew the fuse, and now the wimpy horn won't work. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Go see Dan. He'll point you in the right direction.

I bought a Wolo Horn and didnt like the sound. The Dealer replaced factory horn with a much better sounding one than it came with.Turns out I must have shorted out the original one oopsy.Glad I did not ashamed to push horn button now.

There are some clips you need to push in on those clips.

What's the name/make of the new horn that the dealer installed for you? I've been searching for a deeper sounding and louder horn that will still fit under the H3 hood or behind the grille.

Thanks
