Finally got around to installing a boost gauge yesterday and took the truck out for a couple of hard pulls to see what max boost is on the base H2 kit.
The only mods I have made are three 2-inch holes in the stock airbox bottom (still running stock filter - only 2800 miles on the truck) and a Magnaflow catback. Tuning is that provided with the kit. Pulley size is the 3.1 that was included with the supercharger.
Truck makes about 6.5 pounds of boost with 7 showing at the shift point. What is cool is that it offers up about 5 psi as soon as you hit the throttle.
I'm pretty happy. Now I need some dragstrip results.

Cory,
Is the gauge an option to the super charger? It's just a visual aid correct? I mean you can't adjust the amount of boost your using from within the cab. Can you?
I should be picking up my rig tomorrow after having the magnacharger installed. Was suppose to go today but they called and said there was a small fluid leak at one of the connectors to the intercoller, they said they'd need the truck another day. I think there having too much fun driving the thing around http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I think you can order one from magnacharger... Mine happens to be a hand me down from a friend who had a supercharger on his Camaro a couple of years ago. It is a nice Autometer gauge and at a price I couldn't beat... FREE!
I can't adjust boost unless I change the pulley on the supercharger snout. Since I see that I'm making 7 PSI peak with my gauge, I know I'll move to the 2.9 inch pulley soon.
All the connections on the kit are very easy to tighten and I would say that unless they discovered it and called right before closing time they must indeed be enjoying the ride http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Fubar, you are correct in that the boost can't be adjusted while you drive. The guage is just a reference device and can actually serve as a Warning device.
BTW, I run 9 lbs. but I can't remember if it is with the stock 3.4 or a 3.1. Damn, now I need to check...

Ken,
It has got to be a 3.1 or smaller. I wonder if they didn't send it to you with a 3.4 the first time and changed it out when you sent the truck back for them to fix the disappointing performance.
I expect to hit 9 lbs with the 2.9 pulley.
