View Full Version : Window tint to match factory...
Anyone know which Lumar color/percentage will match the back seat window factory tint the best?
I got my front windows tinted, but am very unhappy with the results... they used a straight gray, and it looks "greenish" next to the factory tint.

18% plus or minus 2% is etched in my back window from the factory.
The place that does all the Hummers for a dealership here recommended 20% on the front to match best.
Thanks for the percentages.
Now if someone can tell me whether the "bronze" tint would be a better color-match than the standard gray that they used the first time. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

Can anyone who has had their front windows tinted if after the window going up and down for awhile if the tint starts showing scratch marks in the tint. I have had several windows tinted on different cars in the past and unfortunately this seems to always happen and it looks like crap.

No scratches at all after 1+ years. Well, except for the scrape the dealer put on one. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif
