You can integrate a HitchCam backup camera into the nav systems, pretty easy to do as well.

ILv, you can search for points of interest, restaurants, stuff like that. You can also bring up their phone numbers so you can call for reservations on the way over. With the H3 nav you can play a CD and use the navigation system at the same time, unlike the H2.

The points of interest on my aftermarket unit works great.I was in NJ and I had an outback gift card and there was one 4.2 miles away.Than I had to fax something and staples 2.7 miles away.Great feature.
Does the factory unit play dvd's?.

Yeah, factory nav does play DvD's, but only in Park. I'm sure you could play around in there and get it to work in drive as well.

I have a word document with the operating instructions for the NAV unit. Give me your email address and I'll forward it on.

Someone may be able to elaborate on this or explain it better. I have an eclipse system in my F-150. I use to have to park it, depress the emergency brake in order to use the Nav. I had one of the installers at a ford dealer ground the system to the frame? instead of the park brake, and now I have full acess to all Nav functions while driving. Of course it's safer for the passenger to operate it while you are driving. The passenger can even watch a movie while the vehicle is in motion. Cool!

Is the navigation system able to be ordered and retrofitted in an H3 without the nav? Anyone have a part # on it yet?
