Randy doing some great spotting! Little did he know that when I asked him, "Hey, do you want to go off-roading?" It included changing a 37" tire on a Hummer while perched on a builder at 6000ft. :jump:

Doc, you have a gem of a pic collection here!!! I don't think anyone else took any pics (or at least, any that you can see anything in!).

I think I popped the bead further up. The area was much tighter, as Shaggy and Randy had to manhandle the spare up the hill and over the tree root on the driver side, and we had to dig a little to allow the passanger door to open (barely) wide enough to operate the Hi-Lift handle.

Please tell Randy I owe him a steak dinner next time he passes through SoCal!! :D

Seems like most of you are not using your off road lights. Was that just for the photos or did you not use them? I would think that it was the perfect time to have them.

We couldn't spot with offroad lights on. It was too difficult to see the tires under the rig even with the headlights on. I kept the parking lights on when I needed a spot and turned the headlights on when I was on my own. It would be handy to have some lights shining down under the truck for times like this.

The spirit queen of the Rubicon. :) Naw, it was randy's camera. He's got one of those canon digital cam's with the dial at the top...it kept on getting knocked to night setting, which decreased the shutterspeed...I'm surprised the rig came out as clear as it did...
