S.

I bought some bumper letters (couldn't find the cheap ones ) and just applied them before it was sprayed. A couple others on here have done it this way.

They sprayed it pretty thick, so the lettering isn't too sharp, but I think it turned out pretty good.

How come the texture looks so much rougher than mine? Both you and Neo have more of a bubbly look?

IDK, quit being a chicken and do your grill. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Thank youuuuu!!!! I was thinking of having it done to my grey one too because everyone else's looks so good, but I'm not liking it on the grey afterall.... so thanks for sharing!

Looks much better in daylight, and actually that is a good contrast with the boulder grey.

MarK M 04-09-2006 03:59 AM

WOW, that looks really good!

did you have to dismount the tires...

what paint did you use? I might do that to my stocks and just might keep them for a second set of wheels/tires.

NEOCON1 04-09-2006 04:08 AM

i just pulled the wheels off truck and preped with a scotch brite pad . i didant remove tires but masked around bead with wide tape . i used some enamel that i get thru imperial supplies , i use it for painting lift-gates , fuel tanks, etc. on my commercial trucks . not sure how it will hold up over time but easy to touch up . less than two cans needed for 5 wheels

Guess you'll find out next week.

Got a link or info on the paint you used?
