My first computer was literally the first portable computer ever made. . .the Osborne 1. It was great and I still have it, though I haven't even turned it on in 10 years. Zilog Z80a CPU with 64kb RAM and two 180KB floppy drives. . . Odd to think that I bought it before ol' 4Churchill was even born.

Gosh, I'm not ordinarily one to try to one up someone else, but I first learned on a computer that used punch tape. My first programming was on punch cards.

Damn, I'm old! Does this mean I need to be depressed too?

The first time my hand went under a sweater was quite a few years before that... As I recall, as a freshman or sophmore in high school, the first thing you mentioned inevitably brought on the second.

my first was uncut slate,That I had to unearth myself.I didn"t have chaulk so I had to cut down an 500ft Redwood
and whittle it down to a pointed stick,to scribe my problems unto the uncut slate. Beat that!!!!!!

Actually, my family were the first to draw in caves.

There is a lingering argument as to wether Detonate's clan was first.
