If I understand correctly, the 35's are the same size as the oem tires.

Hey Doc,
The OEM BFG's are basically 35" tires. Lot's of people put on 37" tires on their stock rims. It looks very nice and it fills out the wheel well too. I just got some mud tires. These H2's look great with big "meaty" tires. |
You are correct a BFG Mud Terrain 35x12.50x17 will fit good on a stock H2 rim. The H2 rim is 8.50 wide and thats the minumum that BFG requires for that size of tire. My rims in the above pics are stock rims that are tripple show chrome plated. Good luck and I am enjoying the hell out of the comments and performance of the new shoes. Heres a comparison of the stock All Terrains versus the Mud Terrains.
TIRE SIZE RIM WIDTH OVERALL DIA. A.T. LT315/70R17/D = 8.5-10.0 34.5 M.T. 35X12.50R17LT/D = 8.5-11.0 34.8 STATS DIRECTLY FROM BFG FULL TIRE LINE FLYER. |
Will 37 tires fit with out rubing? Or do you have to do finder modifications?
