H3 Buyer to be? 06-15-2005 03:44 PM

NO KIDDING, that is a grip... By the time we are done modifying, we could have just bought the H2!

First Hummer 06-15-2005 05:58 PM

Have you installed those yet?[/quote]

The air intake is coming tomorrow and the exhaust should be next week.I wouldnt have spent this kind of money for just 5hp.I read the descriptons and they said 15 hp for exhaust and 14 hp for intake so by my count that is 29Hp.We will see if it s true.

Thanks alot now I have to go and puke.

First Hummer 06-16-2005 01:13 PM

With so many places selling H3 accessories this going to happen. If I paid $999 for each then I would drive me and my H3 of a cliff.I am more concerned about how they work rather than price.

If you paid $2000, I wouldn't drive my H3 off a cliff, but I woul drive to your house and kick the crap out of you...

First Hummer 06-16-2005 05:33 PM

I would expect nothing less.

So has anyone installed them yet? I am interested if they help HP without hurting gas mileage. They say the Air Fliter helps mpg, How about the exhaust?

Both should give you better mpg... I REALLY hope so because right now I'm just getting like 12-13 mpg

I just went for a small ride and I did notice a difference. The install was pretty basic just remove cover and old filter ,put new filter in first then the new cowl that comes with it.It is a snugg fit when you close the hood.I think once the rubber gasket gets molded into place it will be fine.Mpg will have to wait till later sorry.I have decided not to install the exhaust, but rather put money into new stereo with xm radio.

First Hummer, could you please post some pics of the air filter?

Looks good! THANKS!!

funpilot 06-17-2005 07:20 PM

By "noticing a difference", do you mean more acceleration?

firm 06-17-2005 07:28 PM

Can you use the air raid filter, and the flowmaster, or are they the same device?
