I guess I will see what they say when I have it in to check the marker lights and do the 3K service.
Maybe you should just put down the crack pipe. That might help too.

I find you have to be a pain in the a s s and ask alot of questions, give them information they dont know(but do it nice without being a jerk) when you are at the dealer for service.

The day I picked mine up I stood on the steps and checked out the top,I dont know why I just did.

It wouldnt hurt to scan the H3's in the lot before going in.If theres any with same damage and they tell you no or it couldnt come from factory that way you could bring him outside.

I will definitely do that.

Newbies TO DO list:
1) try to take a closer look at it later today.

2) see what they say when I have it in to check the marker lights and do the 3K service.

3) put down the crack pipe.

4) scan the H3's in the lot before going in.If theres any with same damage and they tell you no or it couldnt come from factory that way you could bring him outside

Are we forgetting anything else?

Didn't figure it was. Will have to check, maybe one of our tenants got one.

Sorry to make you look for dents

Steve - SanJose 03-27-2006 11:24 PM

Dent looks like a buttock print , maybe somebody was using the H3 roof as a viewing platform.

S.

They sure get around then

lotus4s 03-27-2006 11:52 PM

Hard to tell for sure, but under the fluorescent light in the garage I can see a slight depression in the area you indicated.

Looks like that bish sat on my roof too....

MahBabyBlue 03-28-2006 12:03 AM

Nice color..

NEOCON1 03-28-2006 02:11 AM

does somebody play basketball by your trucks ? very strange bummer

timgco 03-28-2006 03:52 AM

checked both of ours and no dents on the roof. Both have sun roofs too.

Try to call Dent Wizard

HummerNewbie 03-28-2006 12:06 PM

Maybe I never should have brought it up since nobody seemed to notice it before

NEOCON1 03-28-2006 12:17 PM

if it is a some what common problem it may be happening on the auto-haulers if these trucks were on lower level

lotus4s 03-28-2006 07:12 PM

I think it's something inherent in manufacturing or the sunroof installation as my dent is in exactly the same place as Ma'Deuce, right at the rear door line.

Is this the same for the rest of you guys?

HummerNewbie 03-28-2006 07:43 PM

That sounds about right to me. That is right where it is on the one I took the picture of and I believe where it is on mine. I dropped mine off late this morning to get the marker lights looked at and an oil change. I mentioned it to two of the service reps and they didn't seem to be aware of it. I was in a hurry so didn't get a chance to look at any of them on the lot. Will try to when I pick it up in a little while. I know the loaner I have doesn't have the dent but it also doesn't have a sunroof. One of the reps mentioned that they have seen the same type of thing on the rear door of H2s.

Got to stop and put gas in the loaner before returning it. I will look for you lotus since I will most likely stop right by your place.
