That is the only aftermarket wheel/tire combo I have like so far. 20"s are just too big for an off road vehicle (well maybe not Bigfoot or a lifted H2).

Okay, another crappy pic but I guess when you compare it to the "before" pic (above), two turns of the torsion bar does make a visible difference. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Yout truck looks amazing BTW

Agreed, The 35s look GREAT!

Now go wheel the damn thing. Dirt, dents and scratches wash right off.

Zing 10-05-2005 03:33 PM

Agreed, this is the perfect set of wheels for the H3 - nice job!

1. Kacyk, do remember how the road noise was with the stock tires compared to these?

2. Anyone know if there are 35s that fit over the stock rims?

kacyk 10-05-2005 09:04 PM

Zing, road noise is the same as stock H# off-road wheels. The Toyo's are spectacular.

Zing 10-06-2005 11:58 AM

Just curious, what did you do for your spare tire? Did you get a 5th? I wonder if it would fit on the tire carrier.

kacyk 10-06-2005 03:28 PM

I just left the cover on my stock spare. You won't be able to see out the rear window...or at least not much.

redlinez 10-06-2005 10:55 PM

kacyk,
How wide are the wheels and what offset, backspace?
Your truck looks great!
Thanks,
Bob

Here's the pics I promised. Finally washed it. I had the tire shop turn the torsion bars 3 times. Rides like stock with no weird noises. However, it now rubs (slightly) on the inner bar at full lock. But then, so did my stock tires on my H2.

The rims are on this site under H3 accessories. Sorry but I don't know the specs off hand. The tires measure 34.5 inches in height and 13" across.

PLEASE NOTE that after adjusting the torsion bars the tires do rub on the inside bar. I am actually looking at 33/12.50-18 Toyo M/T's to take care of this issue. Also, with the taller tires (35"s) acceleration does suffer.

usetosellhummer 10-14-2005 11:42 AM

nice meats, loud on road?

kacyk 10-14-2005 07:29 PM

Not at all. No louder than the stock 33's or the stock BFG's on H2's. Not sure how toyo did it. I've had MTR's and Nitto Mud Grapplers and the "singing" drove me nuts. These are awesome.

LOOKS GREAT!

Keep the tires, lift the truck.
