I bet the cleanup job on that red wagon was a joy.

These are the kind of pix I want to see - thanks. I've been seeing too many clean Hummers lately, including mine, so no offense to any one. Do you happen to know what that device is on the Red H1? The black box mounted near the driver's side - looks like optics of some sort or a camera? |
Assuming this is the same hummer.
It's a Night Vision Scope. ![]() |
I'm gonna' guess night vision?

Yep, that's Travis' Red H1 with a Raytheon IR night vision set-up. It's not just a "light gathering" night vision system, it's the real IR Heat sensing system.

Detonate,
Yep, it is night vision - I'm trying to find a photo of the heads up display on the inside to post... http://www.HummerTeam.com Travis - North Texas |
Here is a PDF of the specs of the system... I have a direct source if anyone is interested in one of these.

So do you get that thing at a discount? How much would a normal civilian have to pay?
![]() Does the Raytheon plant sell these at their gift shop off 75? |
Here is a cool "demo" of what the night vision sees...

Those things are so expensive, I'd be afraid somebody would steal it whil I was parked somewhere. Is there a quick release mechanism or something so you can store it inside?
