i didnt think about that does anyone know if it will screw up sensors ?. i usually only would use it in a emergency situation.i rather plug it right and forget about it.make sure you buy quality t handle with ribbon type plugs dont use those plastic ones or striaght handle plug installers/reamers(speaking of reamers who would like to ream hihummer ?) the t handle gives you leverage. its all about the leverage

My TPM sensor is already indicating that I'm severely over inflated.

As for the HIHUMMER comment, that wasn't very nice, she's better than that and doesn't deserve to be talked about like a piece of meat, you pig.

Tire sensors, didnt have a problem when changing the tire, but I had a problem after I switched from 265 to 285s BFGoodrich. the sensors light on the dash was always, although I inflated the 285s to 35 PSI. then when I took the H3 for its first service, they somehow fixed it and it been off since then.

That's the nicest thing about a portable 12v air compressor for airing your tires up after offroading -- an air wrench. This makes changing tires a snap and I used it many times on my old Wrangler. De Vilbis made a nice air wrench that would work with these units 15 years ago, and changing a tire was a snap. I've been trying to find a similar unit online this morning. I think the max torque setting was about 220 ft lbs using a Crafstman 12v portable compressor.

You can never have too many tools!!!

part of an emergency kit should also include a large pair of pliers to pull a large nail out of a tire.
as for the sensor, yes, fix-a-flat will destroy them as others here have said. however, if out in the middle of nowhere, and it is a true emergency, use it. a new sensor is only about $50-75.00. i carry a truck size can of fix-a-flat, as well as plugs, pliers, and a compressor.

Just got back from West Palm. 80's and sunny today. Sure beats the weather here in CT. Reading about the compressor. Can anyone recommed a good compressor w/air wrench?
