Maybe I just can't relate due to my age, upbringing, better ways to spend money, etc., but I just don't get it. What is the purpose of chrome? Do you get better mileage because it slips through the air?

i like the way crome looks on certain parts so there for i buy it. same reason why i bought a H2 i like the way it looks. the all black stuff reminds me of when my dad used to 4X4 and that was along time ago! although i do like the black crome look

While i agree with you, i must admit the better way of spending money part makes me giggle. I dont know about you but I cannot say buying my Hummer was the most responsible investment (but boy do i enjoy it). BTW, Tellico is going to be awesome.
