Hey Neo - they blew up that outcropping at the quarry that you posed on last time. The whole quarry is flat now. :(

Five Fingers Hill was closed because of dust (stupid winery :mad: ). They also closed the road where we almost got stuck. Looks like they're doing repairs all over the park.

But we still managed to get to a lot of stuff. :D

Now for a little story.

When some redneck and I mean rednecks showed up at the ravine, they were egging us on the do the Truck hill obstacle. I know in the pic it does not look very steep. But I would say it runs a very close second to Lions Back, having done both myself.

Sewie finally buckled under the pressure and went for it.

We knew that being it was the weekend following Top Truck Challenge competition, the whole park would be pretty tore up, and Truck Hill was no exception. It was very loose. Kind of like two inches of sand on top of hard clay.

So he took off up the hill and got about 40 feet up when the truck pitched sideways to the left. Scared the crap out of me. I ran to my truck and grabbed my handheld CB, and asked him if he was ok. We got him backed down and got him going back up, this time staying to the left... and he did it!!!! FLAWLESSLY!!!

I had to admit to him that his balls were WAY bigger than mine, there was no way I would have gone up there under those conditions.

Sewie is the BOMB!!! Great job Pie BOIEEE!!! You can now have some pie:
