The dispatcher was like "and what do you want us to do?". I said I hoped she could confirm somehow if it is mine or not. She was hesitent, but said she will send an officer to follow up.

Detectives are M-F according to the officer that stopped by last night. And he is off today.

I asked the seller what games (if any) he had to sell with it. I figured that would be an innocent question that would give me good info.

I just asked Ken & CP to use their Ebay account to ask the seller some buyer-like questions and request pictures of the box including a picture of the serial number.

Cops said it isn't enough info for them to do anything. If the email responces make it sound suspecious then they might care...but not until then. Thanks for the help so far.

Because they most likely know who Shaggy is. Also, if more than one person asks for the serial number maybe the seller won't get spooked. I'm also looking for a cop to request the seller's info.
