Get the new samsung hd 46". The analog sets are obsolete soon...

what are you drinking...you are making a big assumption that they (he-she) has the technical knowledge to do this...if they did why would they even post the thread on this subject...i think you snorted some bad weed...

Fixing it myself is not beyond my abilities, I just need good info to diagnos it. I found one site that has great info and the majority of issues on this set has been burn PCB capicitors(4 of them) without them the tv no starts. sounds simple if thats the real issue.

but I am going to Sam's tommorrow with the wife so we'll see...

Haven't yet. been to busy to pick one out. I am going to go to the local place in Chelsea Called Heydlauff's and see if they will give me a good deal. my wife wants one of them french door fidges too...this could get expensive.

Feeling your pain....we're doing a kitchen remodel soon and just bought a fridge a few years ago....well now she wants all new appliances since the white ones we have wont go good with the black granite tops.....she's looking at the fridges that have the double doors on top and the big freezer drawer on the bottom....guess I better sell a few more repo houses!

let me solve your delema...

take a 12 gauge to the questionable set then go out and but the new 1080 plasma 50" panasonic that CR says is the best TV they have ever tested anyware, anytime...

best price i found on it (LEGIT) was at best buy !!!

send me one also...

:iagree: Sony 46" LCD. Amazon.com Cost was ~2 large. Awesome! ~1 year+, no problems
