Curious situation to be in? It was made clear when marriage was decided on that I would be polite and discuss with her my purchases but, it was agreed before marriage that reguardless of logic of her position it was from before the wedding day agreed that I would go ahead and buy what I wanted when I looked at the budget and it did not take anything away from family budget and needs. I was in no hurry to be married but, was not against it so the person most desirous to be wedded was in the corner to give up on pre-marriage rules set for term of said marriage. I think when put down on paper they call these prenups now.

Dude, she spends 10k a month and said you can't have a new truck? Seriously, if you have that much spending money I wouldn't have asked someone else. You can obviously afford it so go for it. :)

hmm, let see - loads of clothing, loads of unneeded household stuff, frequent lunches, breakfasts and dinners with friends (always picks tabs off course for everyone), travel with girlfriends (pays all), even flying-in girlfriend(s) when I'm out of town, other entertainment, checks to friends and their kids for every ****in occasion like birthdays etc (Christmas time is particularly painfull), personal care (hair, nails, massages and other beauty procedures every once a while), more... believe me guys, it adds up quickly...if it won't stop pretty soon we'll get broke in a few years...
