Nice looking bike, Ray. I've had two CBR929s (and a 600RR, and an RC51, and a...the list goes one - LOL), and shopping for the '06 1000RR right now. Haven't decided on the color yet, but leaning heavily towards the one you chose.

Once my other half takes the rider's course, I fully plan on an RC51. I went from a TL1000 ( 2 years without a bike)to this 600RR. It's fast for a stock 600... and waaaaayyy lighter than the TL. But I do miss that low-end torque!!! Is that seat on the 1000 as bad as my 600? I need to order a Corbin seat for sure. |
Thanks for the info, two more question, sorry I just want to get it right, are you referring to the titan trailer hitch box extension? and where would you put the second bracket?
Thanks |

http://www.etrailer.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PR...tegory_Code=EXTENDER you will need an HD stabilizer bracket where the carrier meets the extension and another for where the extension meets the hitch receiver. i will post pics when i get my second HD stabilizer if you need to see what i'm talking about. |
Once again thanks for the info. By the way, sick bike. I have a Raven Yamaha R1 and a R6 track bike.So i've been waiting to see how to mount one of those things. Thanks

I'm at $11,000 OTD with my dealer right now, and still trying to beat a few more bucks out of him. I know I could do better elsewhere, but I've bought most of my new bikes from this dealership, and they have a brand new location that is only 10 minutes from my house. |
Couple more rookie questions sorry, How many times have you carried your bike and do you still have to use that tow button so the transmission could compensate for that extra weight distribution?

I know if i got mine for $10,900 OTD here in Cali then Texas should be cheaper. I feel the same way about buying from a dealer that's close to home. |

I've ridin my buddy's 600RR and that seat is pretty firm but it's not that bad...it just takes some getting used to. the seat on my 954RR was about the same as the 600RR. i guess a corbin seat wouldn't be a bad investment |
That looks sweet! Makes me want a street bike (which makes the girlfriend very angry)

Nice looking setup...looks very trick.

looks awesome... the only thing that can make it better is if it was a ducati... hmmmm ducati
|
OUCH ! I built a carrier out of 4" channel iron for my sons dirt bike and it cost me $24....painted it with the shiny black RustOleum....and voila !
There is some movement back and forth....but nothing to be concerned about. Next time I load it up I'll take pics ! |

YMMV, but IMO, the Corbin seats suck for hanging off the bike if you ever do track days or race. |
