Re: Seat Heaters .... Mind of Their Own
Mine started this same thing last week. It puts it on High until I shut it off, in which some cases it turns it back on as soon as I finish cussing it. In my work commute of 45-60 min, I bet it turns itself on about 20+ times.
I'm thinking about putting a .45ACP round thru it to see if that helps matters any. |

:jump: Not laughing at you..... laughing at thought of resolution. I was ready to jam a broom handle through mine. It will literally drive a person insane. Change out the window switch module and you'll be good to go. :beerchug: |

But my seat heater switch is above my window switch on the door panel. Are those 2 connected somehow? |

Yes, they are connected. See the last two posts in this thread - http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/s...t=39407&page=2 I got my replacement from a junk yard. |

$183.30 new. Ouch! What other vehicles use this? I see the 2003 Yukon does. I just know that when I call a salvage yard and ask for H2 parts they won't have any. But now since a box of .45ACP is near $100, it may be cheaper to pull an 'Old Yeller' on it. :giggling: |
