That's how mine started...4-5 times in about 18 months. Then it happened all the time.

Not yet. I have opened a case with the GM hotline. Now that the weather has warmed a bit I get a weird delay from time key is turned to start and engine crank. My hope now is for total failure so I can fix it once and for all.

It keeps happening to me ... again this morning!! I wait a few min and it starts. I guess total failure is what I'm waiting for as well. I just hope it doesn't happen when I'm off-road :eek:

I have seemingly rounded it down to my starter to be the cause of this. Apparently it's likely that the starter will intermittently fail like this on it's way to a complete fail. I am going to replace my starter and hope it fixes this problem.
If anybody has any updates on this problem I would luv to hear it.
I am looking at this starter from MSD. Anyone have it?

The starter was the first item replaced on mine and I still had the problem. I ended up leaving the truck at the dealership for the last week and they put another starter in Friday under warranty. It started right up this morning @ 32 degrees. Cold morning starts were when I had the biggest problem so fingers crossed. Let me know how you make out also.
