Re: Does my Hummer need an air filter?

When I don't change my honnycomb air filter in my hummer, I tap it on the ground opposite of entry and fine dirt drops on the concrete. Enough to scar the cylinders for sure and sand any filaments in the MAF over time. I still cannot believe how much dirt comes out. I have a aftermarket intake but stop with the aftermarket filters. One pleat seems to little for the 6.0 or 6.2. Next time you pm your vehicle, tap the honeycomb on the concrete.
