Bender,
I am in the same boat as you. I have a 1998 M3. It is by far the finest automobile that I have ever owned. Prior to buying the M3 I changed cars about every 18 months, but after owning the M3, every other car that I considered buying seemed to be a step down in performance (except perhaps a 911). I love the feeling of throwing that thing into a corner at three times the speed that most other cars could go through, and then power sliding in perfect control through the exit. The brakes are awesome. I have a lot of track time at various road courses, and the car still amazes me, (and I have nearly 100 HP less than your M3). I have taken extraordinary car of this car for over seven years. Alas, it is time for a change. I need something that will pull a motorcycle trailer, carry a surfboard or a kayak, take on a dirt road, and sit outside in the rain and the sun all day with nary a care. (The car has always stayed in storage or under cover until the past year when it became my daily driver and I started a job at a place with no parking garage.) I have been looking at trucks and SUV's for over a year, but in comparisom to my M3 they all seemed lame. The H3 is the first thing I've found that meets my specs (except for the engine) and gets me excited about owning a non-car. I surely will miss my M3. Now, If I could just get a dealer to order an H3 for me... (another story form another thread).

Don't miss it all...

Honestly this truck handles great on the road, even with the adventure package. I love this truck and would highly recommend it
