Here's our newest offroader coming down a trail called mini rubicon I think. No door dingers here DRTY.

Glad everyone enjoyed. Kind of bummed we did not manage to meet the groups up at lunch and exchange folks around. Only managed to hang with B and Z late in the day. Did manage to do what I seem to do best, get H2O though!

That one hill (with the two tracks) has pretty much been rutted out. Everyone who misses making it up almost always slams that rock backing down.

If there is any drag to Paragon it's that some of the trails are tight on H1/H2's.

I'll make sure to let everyone know next time there is a trip planned. Keep me in mind as well if anything comes up. Talking about hitting Rausch Creek soon, which is a new park about 20 minutes south of Paragon. Good reviews!

And here's a picture of BKLYN and his recovery efforts. This H1's wheels were spinning and needed to be winched out.

I've never seen so many "problems" in the 101 area of Paragon before. In fact I didn't think it was possible to get in trouble in that area of the park. Go figure.

Did your winch line break here pulling the red H1 out? Did he high center, stall or just not know how to use low lock?

The winch line which was rated like 12,000 lbs did break and here's how he got out in the end. The driver was 17 and had a learner's permit (no joke). His wheels simply spun in the mud and despite coaching by Lazy Day (our knowledgable and talented pack leader) he couldn't get loose.

looks like he's using GSA's, Those are street tires and not designed for off-roading. <<< No wonder he got stuck.>>>

It's not the GSA's. Trust me. I have been through that area a million times on GSA's, including this same spot. That's why I am a bit confused. The other strange thing is this is not a muddy area. The whole area is a hard pack sand/rock. There is very little mud in the traditional sense in this area. Traction is very good here even in the water.

Guess in the end it was a rough day for this guy. Ended the day on a flat bed. Something about a cracked coolant tank. Plus it was a gas engine Hummer. Who buys a hummer with a gas engine... Doh, forgot where I was (JK)
