Bergstrom in Milwaukee has a test track, and has since shortly after the doors. Paragon, its cool they let you drive on the track, at my local dealer they will not let you for liability reasons (execpt for on special occasions). Will they continue to allow customers to drive on the track or is it temporary? I'm glad I'm not the only one that dragged a trailer hitch over the concrete.

you just have to do it. ![]() ![]() |

I went back to the dealer today with cameras. I took some video I'll post later but here are some pics of my rig on the track. This is the deal where there are sets of rollers under 3 wheels and you go up the little incline with power to only one wheel. If you do it w/o the rear locked it will hesitate while the traction control kicks in, BTM and it won't budge but will not hesitate at all with the rear locked.

The dealers should let every new owner try this one obstacle so they understand how the trac control works and that stepping on the brake pedal makes it inoperative. |
Fantastic photos. Thanks for sharing them!

Nice pics Paragon. That track looks allot like Bergstrom's, execpt they have a 60% vertical grade too. The next time you go around that thing instead of going up the vertical wall for the H2 try the one made for the H1, you should clear it with your 37's.

Carey,
Can't make it up the H1 wall. It is 22 inches and the front bumper hits pretty squarely. I didn't get out to see where it hit on the bumper but it felt like a solid hit. Next time I'll run up to it and take a pic. They are not fond of the marks I left around while playing. I dug trenches in the concrete, pushed my fairlead about 2 foot up the approach ditch and tore off chunks of concrete on the moguls for the H1. The hill is a 60% grade, sorry if I missaid it earlier. You have 60% front hill climb and that turns into a 40% side slope on the other side. |
GREAT PICTURES!!! Thanks Paragon.
![]() Also, I really like the black and white color scheme on your rig. The black wheels and grill look great on the white. Almost as good as on pewter. ![]() ![]() You should be able to clear the H1 obstacles if you approach at an angle and then turn hard into the ledge. If you air those MTR's down to 12-15psi they will practically cling to the rock/concrete and pull you right up. |
Did ya leave the trailer hitch on so you would not knock of them damn lights?
![]() Also, if you are going to run black rims you ought to at least rattle can them hubs. Unless of course you are going for that trailer park look? |
