DRTY,,,i ran my 35" Mud Countrys through the trails and mud (didnt have any rocks)last week at General Sam's offroad park and they did the trick....i think you will like them.

Interesting, none of you mentioned the Nitto Terra's. Just as well. After this last trip to Paragon I realized how bad they clog. While we all had mud issues, it seemed these stuffed themselves in every mud hole and stayed that way all day.

Yes, I actually paid attention to the tires... Except when you-know-who was driving.

I'd stay away from them if you deal with mud.

You might want to go with the BFG A/Ts. But you could step up a size to 37x12.50x17. Since you'll be driving in rain and snow you should consider having your tires siped. I had my stock tires siped and they were simply amazing on wet roads, snow and ice covered roads. Try to get it done at a Les Schwab store.

Plus, we all know that Dennis beat Potato Salad with his stock tires.

I love the look of the 37s vs the 35s. I'm going to buy a set of the Toyos in 35x12.50x17 only because the 37s only come in 13.50 wide. Too wide for stock wheels and stock height. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Thanks for the input. Yup, sounds like the 37" BFG A/Ts are best for me. I can cruise down to the Sacramento area easily enough from Tahoe to get the Les Schwab sipe treatment. That sounds like a great idea for my needs.

I have the MT/R's with 51,xxx miles on them now and they still have tread left. keep'em rotated and balanced and properly inflated on the road and they will last.

Looks like they only like the extra wide tires. 13.50, 14.50 and 16.50- nice on rock buggies and 'neck trucks, but not stock height vehicles.

So my MTRs are wearing down and I wanted to have a new set of tires for Moab. (I'm not going to use my Iroks for this trip) I ordered a set of Toyo Open Country MTs in 35x12.50x17.
They are the same size(if not an itsy bit bigger) as my 37x12.50x17 MTRs.
I'm going to have them put on today or tomorrow.
Sorry, but all I had was my phone for pictures.

Still waiting on mine. Trucker strike down here.

Anyone interested in some BFG M/T's? 95% tread left.

DRTYFN 07-26-2005 02:44 PM

So you got 35's and they are the same size as your 37's?

H2Finally 07-26-2005 02:53 PM

I've just switched to the 37" MT/Rs. A little louder than stock (55mph up), rougher ride at low speeds, no performance lag that I noticed, and definitely looks BETTER than the stock ATs!!

Anyone have a used 5th for sale for my spare?

H2Finally 07-26-2005 02:54 PM

Damn, just read your 95% spare available Drty! How much?!! Can I pick it up in Moab??

Oh, you mean some place selling them. Good luck! Best I did was find a set of 5 that made it through the system and were entered incorrectly in the computer and the cost was entered as the retail and they made me pay $185/each and that included the shipping from Ohio.

Sorry, just rubbing it in a little.
