Ric,

Winters aren't bad at all...I burned 7-9 chords a year, just depended on the extent of the cold. The summer's will kill you...just like Texas. ( I don't care what anyone tells you, it gets HOT there too!!!

Your earlier comment about your next ex-wife??? Don't marry anyone from there either...to the tune of 80K after it was said & done

LC

PS...could you please choke that biotch for me if you see her?

Ric:

I understand this is your next door neighbor and she's lonely. I think you should increase the price.

Her azz is broke now...20 years later.

Seriously, good luck in VA, lots of neat stuff to do & if history floats your boat you are in the right state for it!!!

Too bad you had to leave SA & the great Mezzican food @ Mi T's 24/7. MY favorite place!!!

FYI - that house would sell up here for about 265-300K.

It's a shame I gotta sell it, but I've moved on, and it's gotta go!

I'm finding out that housing in Virginia is not so cheap either!

You got that right. 165K won't even buy you a 1 bedroom condo in Northern VA.

Looks like someone got to her before me!
Payback is a Biitch isn't it!

I'm not really into the whole history thing. (It's just a bunch of old dead people! )
D.C. is pretty cool, and all the museums around here are pretty cool! Lots of Dinos fo my son to see!
Looking forward to Visiting Va Beach!

Mi T's is always good for an after party eatery!
There is better food, but the atmosphere is second to none!
The Mariachi's are the best, and funny too!
I would definetly recommend this place for "Places to go" In S.A.! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Try the metro boston area. Depending on the town that house would fetch between $450-600K

Hell, in the Bay Area that place would run about $800K-1 mil depending on the location. Maybe more in some of the towns.

Worst case Ric-Ho...you could always lease it out to some of OUR new Houston residents Then fight the feds for your $$$

RIC-H0 03-13-2006 11:59 PM

I'd rather make a few more payments, than rent my place out!

Wish I had that problem here in Va.!
Welcome home, Ric.

Thanks for al the help!

I'm getting acclimated to the area.
Although, it's surpising how lost you can get after a few too many beers in a new town!
After 3 hours of driving around, and 3 stops at the same 7-11 (twice to pee and once for a killer burrito!) I finally found my apartment!

I feel right at home!

JamesT 03-15-2006 01:12 AM

You moved? Anyone askedyou what tribe you are from yet?
