How about a mini?

Re: where are the freaking moderators here??
The 100 round mags aren't a lot of fun, honestly. They change the whole dynamics of the weapon.
Besides, it's a lot cheaper, easier, etc. to just use 3-30 rounders. On the place to shoot deal, just go buy your own land and be done with it.:D Shoot whenever and however you want. |

Quote : Now, I am trying to dump a non-shooter M1 Carbine that was an arsenal rebuild as a peace offering to the wifey so I can look at a DSA FAL or even whomever ends up with the best AR-10 SASS
Go with the DSA FAL, I have L1A1 it is a little heavy but a great shooter I love the adjustable gas setting on those rifles. You can shoot anykind, thing or crap through it. When you get a stoppage from carbon build up after a couple hundred rounds just crank up the adjustment and get her rockin again. I was only joking about the SPAS-12. Wifey wouldn't let me buy it anyways:mad: |

Next to a hot water heater is a bad place for storing ammo:eek: !!! |

Has anyone read the deal about New York City hiring PIs to go and pretend to straw purchase weapons at dealers in other states? They are now suing something like 15 dealers in several other states. |

Our dumb-ass mayor Daley has been doing that for years. Suing gun shops, manufacturers and citizens. He was so desprate this year he had a gun buy back program and $100 gift certificate for ever weapon turned in. You should have seen the crap six shooters, single barrel shotguns and old bolt action 22's turned in. No assault weapons. So the gangs traded their crap weapons for a $100 upgrade to something better:rolleyes: Simple math here Trade in 4 22 revolvers total capacity all together 24 rounds = $400 w/buyback program Tec-9 capacity 30- 50 rounds = street value 250 Hi point 9mm or Maadi Helwan 9mm capacity 15 in clip 1 in chamber = street value $150 Final total 4 low cap weapons off the street 24 rounds if you carried all 4 together for 1 - assault weapon 30-50 cap $250 + 1 - 9mm in the waistban 16 cap $150 = $400 & more death on the street . Great Plan Mayor Daley |

Wish they had a buy back plan here, I'm sure I could find some rusty pieces of shit to trade in for profit :D |

I would ask how you like the P2000, but I can assume that since it is your carry weapon, you like it. Personally, I prefer SIGs, but I will never knock H&K, I own too many. I do believe the H&Ks will last longer, but for me, a SIG is the only one I will carry. Creature of habit I guess. |

They're both great guns. One thing I like about the USP (and the later model Glocks have this too) is the second really-stiff recoil spring that basically only kicks in after the spent case is ejected. It's ingenious. That way, you can fire a wide variety of ammo in terms of power, and it will still extract flawlessly. E.G., if you fire a weak round, the second spring never kicks in, but you still eject the case (whereas if you has a single stiff spring to handle heavy loads, it wouldn't fully cycle with the stronger loads); and, if you fire a stronger round, the second spring kicks in after the round ejects preventing the slide from punishing the receiver (and your hand) (whereas if you has a single light spring to handle weak loads, the slide would smash up against the receiver causing excessive wear and recoil when using more powerful loads). I think the USP was the first to do this in mass production anyway. The Glock I bought in 1992 didn't have this, but my 2002 Glock 27 does. |

I have a H&K USP compact 9 that I really like but have been favoring my new P22. Alot of fun to shoot, more compact and cheaper.

Re: where are the freaking moderators here??
I carried a G22 for the longest. But I didn't really carry it. I would shuck it and leave it in the truck going into stores or restuarants because it printed so bad. So I started in on a G23 and the P2000sk came out and struck my fancy. I like the LEM trigger. After dry firing and shooting enough I know where that break is on the first pull and the followup is such a short release on the trigger, it's rythmic to drop 2 or 3 rounds near the same hole.
It's not a fun gun to shoot at the range like the G22 is because it is small. But it is a tool that serves well after some practice with it. I really liked the USPs and the way they felt when shooting them. They felt tight and like you get what you paid for. Biggest issue for P2000sk is if you can handle the small size. The P2000 is much more fun to shoot at the range but I find myself wearing shorts and t-shirt a lot these days and want to print as little as possible. |
Re: where are the freaking moderators here??
I don't carry any firearms. If someone pisses me off, I just get hammered and drive over them in my Hummah.

Just put the PM9 in a pocket holster and you won't print at all. This little gun is flawless, 9mm, and TINY. You outta try it! |

Re: where are the freaking moderators here??
This might be a dumb question, but why a crossdraw on the left side if you already have the strong side holster with a wheel gun in it? I assume that's a cowboy rig.

Yeah I shoot cowboy. We empty our strong side and then get 5 more shots from the crossdraw in competition. Hammer down on an empty chamber. Lots of safety rules. I also shoot my 24" stagecoach double barrel 12 gauge in competition. I am dead on with the 45 repeater. I will post up a pic later of me in the authentic get up.:D |

Tah2oe posting a pick with guns and a Chef's Hat after talk about shooting someone worries me. Your ancestors weren't the Donners...were they? :D
