Re: Greetings from FJCruiserForums.com

well, i appreciate you coming to our board and being so cordial. i did go to your board to look around...and to be honest, i was disgusted. i did a search for hummer and began reading threads. 99% of the threads were dedicated to bashing hummers. i have nothing against fj's. heck, i actually like them. i would love to have one in addition to my h2, but, cant afford a $30k truck for a spare vehicle. but it seems like almost everyone on your board is harboring hatred toward mainly the h3's and some h2's. it seems most are VERY misinformed about the capabilities of the hummers and their owners. hummers and FJ's are both VERY capable off roaders with each having their own weaknesses and strengths. i wish people would realize that. and keep their closed minded opinions to themselves. after all, we all bought the vehicle we liked best for our own reasons. some to take to the mall, some to trail in MOAB, some for the creature comforts, some for the name...

but in short, i won't be joining your forum due to complete hatred toward our kind here. i know every board has some dickheads (even some here) but there seems to be an abundance "over there".

Simple solution to at least some of the problem: get the two groups together for some wheeling. :D It's alot harder to dislike people you've actually wheeled with (unless they are jerks there too).....usually though, it just stems from ignorance of the other people's vehicles. Once they figure out that people are basically the same regardless of what they drive, they're fine.

I'm going to try and plan a hummer, fj, jeep, whatever run in AZ in the near future. I hope some of you will want to come out and have a good time meeting people and wheeling with other rigs to see how they work. Life would be damn boring if we all drove the exact same thing. Besides, I know I've learned alot by watching different vehicles and different mods to those vehicles....you guys are no different.

Happy trails.

Sean
