I vote for a new mascot. Let's see how you can incorporate this into the Black Sheep Hummer Squadron.

Guess I was wrong and going with being displayed on a wall. When I was in the service, we didn't wear the flag. I guess the Viet Cong knew who was who. This is what I was basing my comment on...which evidently is incorrect. When the flag is displayed in a manner other than by being flown from a staff, it should be displayed flat, whether indoors or out. When displayed either horizontally or vertically against a wall, the union should be uppermost and to the flag's own right; that is, to the observer's left. When displayed in a window, it should be displayed in the same way; that is, with the union or blue field to the left of the observer in the street. When festoons, rosettes or drapings are desired, bunting of blue, white and red should be used, but never the flag. But I would not say a group of Hummer owners meets you description of a military unit...so quite your bitchen. Why don't we just remove the dang thing...Don't we have people who are not US citizens? |

I just wish it was not a sheep. how about part of the truck or something?

The way I undersand, Black sheep is a derogatory colloquialism in the English language meaning an outsider or one who is different in a way which others disapprove of or find odd. Basically a separatist. "Lions Club" already taken, but "The Bear Squadron", I think it doesn't sound right! |

Re: BLACKSHEEP HUMMER SQUADRON 2007
Love the Logo . and to finish the design I would remove the flag on the shoulder and put HUMMER on it .
|
Re: BLACKSHEEP HUMMER SQUADRON 2007
So, do you want me to remove the flag or what?!!!

i wasn't complaining...i think it looks fuk'n awsome!! if i could get it incorporated into my spare tire cover i'd do it in a heartbeat... like i said i didn't mean to pee in anyone's cheereo's |
Re: BLACKSHEEP HUMMER SQUADRON 2007
I wasn't trying to piss anyone off either.
I've seen tattoos on people that were "incorrect" in their alignment (no big deal), but God help the Jarhead who gets a Eagle, Globe and Anchor tattoo with the anchor facing the wrong way (that is a big deal). |
Re: BLACKSHEEP HUMMER SQUADRON 2007
I think it looks great the way it is!! Has anyone noticed that our mascott isn't wearing a uniform?! So, therefore the whole flag argument, (which is totally legit for uniformed servicemen) is a waste of time!!:excited:
By the way, what happened to the good old days when a few owners got together in support of TGL's great idea, and bought some really cool shirts? I still get people asking about mine at work. Thanks TGL! :beerchug: |
Re: BLACKSHEEP HUMMER SQUADRON 2007
I can't wait to put this logo on the back of Brutus but I think you should add below it "Rollin with the Banned and the Damned"

Re: BLACKSHEEP HUMMER SQUADRON 2007
Now the tan w/green and black lettering kicks ass. I thing a smaller box along the bottom with "Rollin with the Banned and Damned" would really set it off but that, I would order for sure and wear it proudly.

Re: BLACKSHEEP HUMMER SQUADRON 2007
With permission, can I/we set up an overseas branch of the "Squadron"? There is a pretty dedicated bunch of H3 owners that test the limits of the vehicle in the deserts of the Arabian Gulf every weekend.
Just a thought, let me know:beerchug: |
