Took the skid plate off this morning and bought a big ass mallet to try to pound out the dents.
Bent this front drop bracket back into the bushing....that sucker bent back almost 3/4 of an inch. It's amazing what this heavy beast can bend when slammed into rock ledges several feet high. It's almost completely unavoidable too, when wheeling alone with no spotter through massive boulder fields. I ended up winching my Jeeper friend off a boulder (on Strike Ravine) that was at least 600 pounds, that had worked it's way up until it was laying on his front drive shaft only a few inches from his oil and tranny pans. We put some big rocks behind his front tires and I winched him backwards up onto them until the boulder fell free of his rig. Made me appreciate the undercarriage protection on my rig.....damn thing had disaster written all over it. Good times......:giggling: Attachment 47458 Attachment 47459 |

Re: Moab - Spring '08
Nice pics Beebs. Glad you posted the victory (vindication) dance pics!
I went down to 4 Wheel Parts today to pickup the new center cap. I got into a conversation with the Manager, He informed me about how the H2 was originally designed as a" Grocery Getter". :giggling: He told me about his last trip to Moab in his (heavily modded) Jeep; how they ran Golden Spike, Cliff Hanger, Moab Rim.......;) I just laughed.....I've heard that from so many Jeepers.....They all act so shocked when the H2 goes right up. When we coming down from the top of Moab Rim and had to wait for the rolled Jeep mess coming up.......the Jeepers all looked shocked to see the H2 up there. Many of them asked my Jeeper buddy, "how did they get that H2 up there?" My friend said, "He just walked it right up." :clapping: |

Re: Moab - Spring '08
I want to thank you all for the time you gave me for interviews. I know it's difficult for anyone to turn down face time with me, the great Geraldo, so you can thank me later for making you famous.
The story should run in a couple of weeks. G |
Re: Moab - Spring '08
Sewie hasn't posted pics yet, but he has time to put Bebe's dance into an animated GIF for his avatar.

The engineers/techs trucks.:clapping: The Colorado is basically all H3 except the body. The white H3 has a Rancho lift with a custom SOA in the back. Both have the cast iron front diffs and e-lockers F/R.
