Re: Boulder H2 Winch Bumper
I was real interested in that winch/bumper combo ... Anyone actually has hands on experience with this product ??? I have bought 2 items from the seller and they've been working great. But, I'm affaird to commit to something that expensive to find out it just will break down the road.
On the other hand anyone has hands on experience with T-Max hows that brand compared to WARN ??? |
Re: Boulder H2 Winch Bumper
I dont actually have a tmax winch but i went off roading with someone that did. We used it a couple of times and it is one tough winch. I asked him how he liked it and he said it was a great winch. He had a craddle set up with a wireless remote. was a really nice setup. Looked heavy duty.

Re: Boulder H2 Winch Bumper
I installed the boulder bumper and mm winch, Saturday. I have pulled my golf cart out of the sand box in back yard 3 times. So far it pulled ok. It is very difficult to free spool. Called the manufactorer they said new seals make it real tight and it will loosen up with use. It takes all my strength and weight to free spool now.

So are you disappointed with the kit? Would you recommend it to anyone? |

No, it is okay. I prefer a better quality winch like a Warn because when you are stuck out in the middle of no where - the last thing you need is a winch problem. This will be my first time owning a Mile Marker winch so it's a new experience for me. The way I look at it, I got such a good deal on price that I paid regular price for the bumper and the winch was free. |

I hope nothing happens to you but if you should find yourself in the middle of a forest stuck in the mud and the winch doesn't work.... remember your quote. :p ;) |
