That some fly handles yo!

Introducing, Grape Ape H3 hood handles.

You will never have to say: "Sorry, grape ape, grape ape." for forking out too much money to dress up your H3. Hurry! Buy now while supplies last or until the Samosonite Gorrilla still has the teeth to rip the handles off briefcases. And if you act now, will throw in a 10 inch "Fudgey the whale" ice cream cake for free!! Thank you and god bless. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Yo man. That's some serious "off-road pimping", not to be confused with bling-bling Snoop Dog style pimping.

That is one great post badger. Well done. Man your Badgers handed it to us last night. Gunna be a long season here in Hawkeye land.

The trowel handles look pretty good to me. Hell, I bet they're more ergonomic than those $150 ones. Of course, they're just for show anyway, right?

BradO 01-06-2006 07:20 PM

Love the posts. Hilarious, Badger!!! Seriously though, the grout handles match the color better than aftermarket black handles I've seen on the web. The curved shape and markings match the interior pull handles as well. I wish GM or someone would offer a one piece replacement or something that matches the vehicle (in black), but I haven't found any. I'm surprised these haven't popped up on EBay for $99 pr. Love reading the comments/jokes in the meantime though..

I put a GOBI rack and lights on over the last two days and took everything off today! I decided to go to HOME Depot and take one of their plastic shopping carts and ratchetstrap it to the roof. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

found something better..a little costly than your shopping cart mod but hey $10 ain't so bad for what I got. it's durable, covers the whole roof, comes in different colors and takes less than a minute to modify when clearing a low entrance. will install it once i get some industrial type velcro..for now check out the pic:

It's not that I'm a cheap arse , though my wife would disagree I just really wanted hood handles for my H3 but all the ones I have seen on the market just don't do anything for me, I like the shorter more rounded look of the "trowel" handles ...now you guy's have me feeling so guilty that I'm going up to home depot and just give them $200.00 ...

Really if your going to drill into hood grill you might as well get the real handles I would like a set in black.

Game Over You strap that to your roof fill it with water(forget about the weight limit on rack)Then go wheeling with someone in it.

MyKnobs.com???????Thats funnier than the whole trowel handle install!!!! Someone needs to install a more art deco version to the hood, A pilars and roof rails and call it the Miami special edition ala "Texas longhorn edition" as seen in another topic.....Someone will be rich !

I have a great idea for all of you trowel handle installers. Rather than waste the trowell, put it on the underside of the hood when screwing the handles on to stiffen it up. This should be enough strength for those helo evac lifts!!!!!!!

I'm putting my money into trowel companies.

I bought the real wheels chrome cover with handles.I Paid 275.00 for both.I put the chrome cover on first and decided not to put the handles on because i thought why should i put the handles on when the H3's hood doesnt open like the H2 and H1 so i said why bother i guess i could put them on just for looks.Im still undecided but i can still change my mind and put them on or sell them .Anybuyers????

Pacey 01-11-2006 06:41 PM

Anybody got a good pic of the Black SMA Handles installed? Apart from that pic on their website.

Any opinions on them?
