It rides rougher because you have little to 0 sidewall - same thing with my totally tricked out BMW I used to have. Less air to cusion the bumps and cracks.

looks pretty cool imo. just don't ever take it off-roading or if you do say good bye to the rims.

Looks good to me.

looks good.... but, with those tires, don't plan on trying to stop on ice!! You'll be a big damn sled coming down the street.

what makes you say that???

twenty2 02-20-2006 02:01 PM

I was looking to get those tires as well and the tire shop said that the climate where I live at said it was a "4" on ice. The winters here are pretty icey and said that these tires are horrible on icey streets.

Well we have to see about that. I have a set sitting right next to me and you can only imagine how is the weather over here

twenty2 02-20-2006 04:06 PM

let me know how they work out. 'cause I really like the way these tires look . I'd like to prove that tire shop wrong.

so, it's been a few months with your setup. How's it been? I've been waiting to see if you had any problems?????:)

Re: New BFG Mud Terrain on 22's

sorry for the late reply...i haven't really been on here in a while. anyway, i haven't had any problems with my wheeel and tire setup. they are a little louder on the pavement than the stocl tires but it's no big deal if you have a nice stereo system

Re: New BFG Mud Terrain on 22's

by the way, the rear air suspension was activated when i took those pics...the truck does not have a lift other than the 2" leveling for the front which was added maybe a month after i took those pics
