I just can't find the one that DTHVLY posted.

Go to your local Toyota dealership and buy one

Ipedog 03-22-2006 04:17 PM

Okay... I found this :

It looks like it would work very well... BUT... I don't see a US distributor.

DDWH 03-22-2006 04:30 PM

I found a bunch of 'em on Ebay.

Ebay search results

DTHVLY 03-22-2006 10:39 PM

That one comes on the new FJ but if you don't need the temp gauge that jeep one on ebay would be the closest to it. I haven't been able to find that ball style anywhere but on that FJ one.

i think ill ask Neo if i can take a test drive in one of those things , he can rip it off the dash , think they would miss it

fourfourto 03-23-2006 09:44 AM

I have been looking for one to mount above mirror. No luck.I would like side to side angle.

Maybee Ill do some midnight auto at the toyota dealer

Ipedog 03-23-2006 10:56 AM

I think I'm just goint ot get the lev-o-gauge from trail duty. The search for something better is turning out to be too much of a PIA...

It looks good there for side to side angle
What do you do for front back angle ?

NEOCON1 03-25-2006 08:59 PM

442 , no gauge for front to back. just concerned about roll over . if i get past 35 to 37 degrees i need to start making things better before they get worse

I really like that setup. How did you end up mounting it to the glass?

hey Darth , real simple it comes with double stick tape on the back just peel and stick . was thinking i could get another and mount like 442's and that would give front to rear .

I was thinking of getting another one and mount it like NEOCON1 and would get side to side.

I thought the H3 can handle 40 deg? you just playing it safe.

NEOCON1 03-25-2006 11:46 PM

yea , 37 thats when you want to start being very very careful a good bump or sudden wheel grap that close to 40 could be very very bad but when its that close you want to be crawlin very lightly you will know it because your seat will be up da booty and with 35's have to be even more cautious

LMAO! You're going to love Moab and the side slopes. When your lev-o-guage pushes the max, that's whhen things get really interesting.
