I'm an eternal optimist... look at it this way. Think about the Rock of Gibraltar. It was, by the nature of it's geography and extensive series of tunnels, an unassailable fortress. The old simile "Solid as the Rock of Gibraltar" is a reflection that the Rock and it's people were never defeated, despite long sieges. May your booty always be strong and free.

My youngest (3) however lived half his life in and out of Children's Hospital.

He's normal now. Unforunately all the trauma and emotional stress scarred his father's brain.:D

Happy to hear he's better. A good looking kid. Though it looks almost as brutal there as it does in the Frozen Chosin Resevoir photo. Isn't it true that child mortality is almost 100% in Canada due to freezing?

We try to dispose of the ugly children by exposing them on the tundra so the ones that live are either beautiful or extremely tough... or both. Canada is a harsh nation.

I actually love the cold and am frustrated with all of this cool wet crap out East lately. Let it snow. I wouldn't mind living in Alaska except for the almost complete lack of sunlight in the winter.

I start them off by leaving them outside all night in -10 degree weather.


In this one, Kyle my oldest, is already a vetran and fast asleep. Tyler however, was complaining for a pillow. Luckily I did not give in. I guess I am a softee since I did build them a fire.:D
