Tis true. I had an 84 and we got very impatient waiting for it. There was no 83 Vette.

I was still in High School when that came out. It had the "Cross Fire Injection". The auto mags referred to the new Vette as "The King of the Hill" due to the return of engine power after the power robbing emissions of the late seventies and early eighties.

I've had a couple vettes since then and still love them. I don't know how this vette tangent got started either but, since Neo has a room devoted to them, the 3 owners are probably gonna end up talking vettes again. :)

Hey, I thought Hunner said he was coming out to join us...anybody know?

Weather looks great Neo, keep it up!

7 days & counting.

Here's my wishlist of trails for the first few days: (I've realized I was talking out my a$$, there'll be no GS for me...I gotta be able to make it home on a schedule)

SUN: Klondike Bluffs/Tower Arch
MON: Fins & Things/Hells Revenge
TUES: Top of the World/Rose Garden Hill

We've got all these mapped out on the GPS, but it would be nice if somebody'd driven it before & they were with us.

Your Monday schedule will have to start at 5AM until dark to see everything.

I've done GS twice and the H2's have all made it out fine (well except for Rox, but we have a tie rod changing specialist coming so that covers that) :giggling:

Are you saying you want to run both trails listed each day, or one or the other? Like Tim said, not likely you'll be able to to F&T and Hell's in one day. And I'd prefer either of those to any of the other trails you've listed. F&T is rated difficult, but its really more moderate. Klondike is kinda boring as far as the trail. But if you go all the way into Arches NP, then its worth it. TotW sounds interesting, but honestly there are great views on almost all the trails. Especially ones that run along rims like Seven Mile or Porcupine, and those trails offer more challenges. Just my 2?. :)

If time allowed, I'd like to run both trails I listed for each day, but that may be a bigger bite than time allows. F&T and Hells are big on my list, I wanna run one of them. Klondike into Arches NP is for an easy Easter sightseeing ride with the whole family. TotW & RGH is right near where I'm dropping my wife off for a day at the spa on Tuesday, would make for an easy pickup later....or are there rental cars in Moab?

Hahahaha. :D You've never run the trails - so how do you know when exactly you'll complete them in order to arrange for picking up your wife on time? I can't remember if you can rent cars in Moab. But you can rent quads - so maybe have here cruise back on of those! :D

Run Fins n Things first. ALthough route finding is more difficult, this trail allows you pleanty of opps. to get off the trail at any time. It runs back and forth across Sand Flats Road.

Hell's is one of the best trails (IMO) in moab. You will need some experience before just heading out on that trail. Fins N Things will do that for you. You'll want to take most of a day on Hell's. THere's scenic overlooks, optional stuff to do, and than you'll more than likely have others with you that will take up mroe time for pics/ vid.

Re: MOAB 2K7 - FINAL COUNTDOWN

Not to steep on any toes, but I ran Fins and Hells in one day, on my first trip to Moab, by myself. Hells got hard when the sun started to set and I couldn't see the trail markers. It was still day light when I got off the trial, but the shadows the setting sun created really made it hard. I wouldn't want to do that again.

By the way that was October of 2005 and I saw a couple of sweet H2's out there. Matter of fact they were the sweetest Hummers I had ever seen. They were staying at the Ramada. I am pretty darn sure it was Adam, from all the jerry cans it was carrying. :beerchug:

Was it you guys? Small world huh?

Seeing those H2's totally changed my view of H2's and I started looking at hummers on the way home.:D
