For a variety of reasons that are too complicated ![]() From Garvin's site: ![]() Yea i was looking there, i was kind of worried about it fitting...i lost a fight to an old jerry can 1944 vintage. pretty rusty inside. gave up and bought a new one, after my acid trick did not get all the crud out. |
If it were my truck, I'd be reluctant to have the can standing upright on the roof as pictured. That's just screaming for a tree branch to whack it good. A flat mount -- however you do it -- would probably work best.

Edspad -- check out this can mount. You can mount your can vertical or horizontal with one of these.
