Goodenough for me, my bad!! petersons says it is a yukon frame with new mount points and some boxing.

Are you kidding me? You got the balls to tell people on this board to do research on their own trucks' build components, when you take Peterson's 4WOR(that you probably read on your lunch break) as the definitive answer. You are an IDIOT. Start wearing a respirator in that body shop and stop sniffing all that Bondo dust! Piss off troll.

Um try the frame although extended and the engine and the tranny and the transfer case. to name just a few major components. Share your ignorence with the forum I see.

Did Peterson's also tell you that the Tahoe and the H2 both employ the same engine,(wrong, the H2 has the 6.0L and the Tahoe has the 5.3L), same tranny (wrong, H2 has the 4L65-E and the Tahoe has the 4L60-E), and of course the Tahoe doesn't come in full time 4WD (just for you Phil).

You came here to be aggressive with your opinion but opinions don't matter if they are based on ignorance.

the h2 is built on a GMC yukon frame. do the research.

No more then a human is a modified monkey!

The H2 is built on a series 800 chassis that has been dramatically modified and reinforced. It actually more resembles the Suburban frame then a Tahoe.

rockcrawlerdude 12-18-2003 11:48 PM

well i think those H2's are pretty bad azz, thats why i want one. they seem to be built strong enough for what most people will use them for (off road wise) and yes they have limitations just like EVERY vehicle. and so far i have only seen a weak point in the drive train , that being the tie rods.. but thats a small issue that can be dealt with easy...i can wait to get mine....way down the road.....

I find it interestting the false concepts people have about the H2 and other vec.. I posted on our stores website bulletion board taht we are adding a new product line.. Explained that we are adding H2 accessories. I got a response from one guy " IS it Humvee parts or parts for the Soccer Mom Hummer.

I explained the H2 to him and he never responded.

It's just funny what peoples ignorance will do to them.
