X2, I only met them the one time in Moab, but Seth seemed like a very decent & responsible guy. I will be startled if I discover his complicity in this. :crying:

The one really positive and encouraging thing about this whole issue (for me) is discovering how much outrage there is over this abuse. I think this shows the true colors of our community and contradicts the sarcasm and bravado we often display regarding Global warming and Natural Preservation issues. I will be honest and say that I love driving my truck (especially off road). And while (probably selfishly and hypocritically) I am by no means willing to give it up, I have had significant concerns about future generations and the carbon footprint I leave.

The message is Elcova will not condone this idiotic behavior and will not cover up the situation even though they are Hummer owners.

Elcova is not a safe haven if they think they can run and hide here for support. They should cower in the confines of the ******* club.

I've done some stupid stuff before I realized what my responsibilities were. But I sure as hell wouldn't attack someone who came behind me and cleaned it up.

I don't think I every did anything this bad though.

I have NO CLUE whats going on here but what I dont understand is what was the point in even going that direction???? Doesnt even look like it would have been enjoyable. I have seen parking lots which offered greater resistance than that route.

When I attended the last Hummer event that Cerritos Hummer sponsored over at Irvine Lake, I noticed that you had application forms for ********* Club. I took this as a tacit endorsement of that group on your part and consequently considered joining them quite seriously. It has, of late, come to my attention, that this group is engaging in eco-destructive off-roading methods which would make my participation in that group unconscionable. I am including a URL from the Elcova Hummer Forum to which I belong (my handle is "tower"), so that you might have access to the current discussion regarding H-X club. It is several pages long, a little laborious, but I think you will find it well worth a read all the way to the end. I request, in the strongest way possible, that you divest your company of any affiliation with that group so as not to besmirch the fine reputation which Cerritos Hummer has built over the years. If it would help, I would be happy to discuss this with the United Auto GM, or anyone in the Hummer or GM organization.

I told you it wasnt bad. I dont know why those people are ruining the new trail we blazed for the club to use.

They ruined a new trail that nothing was wrong. A few more weeks of club members driving the trail and it would have looked like all the other trails out there in the field.
