You talk about the UN as if it is something great. The UN deserves about as much respect as France. Of course the UN didn't want us in Iraq, too much would come out of it. You say the US invaded anyway, what about our allies in the war. I have not problem with closing the UN. It has long outlasted its usefulness. You may want the US to run the world (your the one who said it) but I don't see anyone from the US saying that

The UN is there, along with 30 other nations troops, along with many others non-military assistance. 40 countries and international organizations have pledged about $34 billion in assistance for Iraqi reconstruction. More than 80 countries and international organizations came together in Brussels to coordinate their efforts to help Iraqis provide for their security and rebuild their country. There is a war against the insurgents now.

We are striving to rebuild a country that has been in tyrrany for three decades, while still at that war, and are slowly returning the responsibilty to that country.

Leaving Iraq in it's current state would just lead to another tyrannical situation. Our goal is to have a stable, peaceful, democratic country in the Middle East.

The UN is a front for what really happens. We give them the money and they usally go olng with whatever we want but lately the UN has taken a life of it's own. Watch out for Russia, Putin has it all worked out and has removed alot of the so called freedom the people of Russia had. They are cutting deals with Iran and China and will soon be the #1 oil producer. So take all the money we give the middle east for oil and start giving it Russia???? The UN has been a huge joke, especially where Iraq is concerned. Had the UN simply backed up it's resolutions with action, the coalition forces would not have had to sidestep and bring down Hussein themselves.

As far as leaving, when your country sacrifices it's soldiers for a cause, you see that cause through. To the end. To do anything else is a an afront to the ultimate sacrifice those soldiers made. Of course, your country wouldn't know very much about this concept.

people people people... we have to remember few things about history and the facts.

1. When was the last time Sweden was in war? About 200 years ago...

2. Sweden is the most liberal country in the world with fruitcakes (and this is a fact) running the "army". Well how did they help Finns when we got into the war with russians, by russians? none what so ever. Thanks bros! If was to me, we would take over you faqs and put down your faqqy royal family worth crap... and all you would be doing is whining about UN! And to be honest, it wouldn't be diffucult at all

3. If you compare just basic decision process in Swedish culture, it is like a freaking nut house compared to anything you have ever seen on this planet. In every negotiation ALL the people have to agree before decision can be made. If UN worked that way, we wouldn't still have the aid at the chrisis zones like Zunami in Thailand or earthquake area in Paskistan. I hope you little whiners understand that world will always have a major power. Yes, it will be chritizied, some for reason some for not. Would you little swedish meatball rather have the chinese or russians run the world instead??? Think about it!

4. Again, I have an oppinion about Iraq (I support US in there), but hell, everybody is entitled to their opinion. But why do these socialistic Europens think that being nice to everybody will cause everybody to be nice back. That is so freaking blind!!! Do you Swedes and Polacs believe that if we just had left Saddam to be, that country would be better off? I know innocent people die, but dude if you ever have been in army (I have, and I know mr. swede will say he too, but swedish army is like a AA meeting talk talk and talk, but no walk.) these things happen.
