Hi All,
I was just told by a friend working at a fuel distributor that gas prices will be increasing $.25 by 7pm tonight 8/31. This was reafirmed by another source, so if you need gas, get it now. Currenty up in Ithaca, NY gas is 2.78 but just north of us in Syracuse where its usually cheaper, it is 3.17. Just figure i would give you a heads up if you havnent heard. Thank you Katrina

I just checked gasoline prices here in NC and some places are already up to $3.25 (that's regular unleaded). This is soooo ****ing ridiculous.

The markets are just freaking out because of a storm threat in the Gulf of Mexico and the hault of production there. Because the refinery capacity is scant. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

On the way to work at 715 am the prices were $251, on the way home around 4pm, gas was at $277 for 87 octane. Yet the gas company continues to make billons. Unbelievable.

JMV1210 08-31-2005 06:35 PM

By the way, I am on South NJ.

oma 08-31-2005 07:06 PM

KenP 08-31-2005 08:15 PM

I just got back from the gas station. I paid $2.75 per gallon. The gas station was a zoo, I think people are starting to panic from the news. I saw on the news today that gas was going for $6.09 per gallon in Atlanta.

VTSTOMPER 08-31-2005 09:34 PM

ok, Today we had every station at $2.80, and then one station that stayed at $2.60...there was a line for 500 feet of cars/trucks bumper to bumper waiting for gas! I just laughed because my tank is full...when it runs low I will be in line probably.

mstams 08-31-2005 11:06 PM

Just saw on CNN prices already over $5 at some stations in Atlanta.
