Hi Folks,

What gas mileage do you get in the city? Highway?
Average?

city= 50+
Highway= 65+

come'on your driving or want to drive a Hummer H2 a $50,000 square box with wheels. If you are even considering a Hummer you should'nt be worried about fuel consumtion. Lets put it this way, your gonna spend hella alot on gas and right now gas is'nt too cheap. Its all about image with the H2. I don't drive one but i sure as hell want too.

In answer to your question: about 9 mpg. I have a bit of a heavy foot and my commute is stop lights for about 1.5 miles. Doesn't make for good mileage.

I waz being a bit sarcastic to the newbie, sorry. It’s a no brainer search on this board to get some very real info. on the H2 gas mileage. My real average is about 3 MPG in the city and 2.75 on the highway at my normal cruising speed of 115 MPH (yeah I am a slow coach, but I live in the mountains and they are twisty).

Ditto here. Only difference is my odometer is still at original 70 miles....

In Canada we drive backwards.

Dennis u should know that the electronic speedo counts both ways SO u must not have EVER driven yours

Now everyone go out and see how fast we can drive in reverse like those north of the border

Hey LOOPSS:

City usually right at 12 mpg, highway 12-13+ mpg, and off-road, around 9 mpg, average 12 mpg.

Light footed driver.

We're American wannabes.

But we're still sovreign to the Queen.

We will disagree with everything Americans do,
but expect protection when the **** hits the fan.

This country sucks...don't come here! As Steve would say....

11.4. I have a heavy foot also but this area is flat as a pancake. The tallest "mountain" is the land fill.

h2h82,
So quickly tell us all what kind of mileage your G-wagen gets..... hurry up now, you shouldn't have to go scrambling to a search engine for the info, it should be right there. Ooooh that's right you don't have one, do you? But the guy that picked you up last week, banged you, kicked you back out onto the street and threw a crumpled $20 at you did, right? So for a brief moment it was "your's". That brief moment when you had to bite the seatbelt of the G-wagen since there weren't any of your usual crusty pillows to bite on.
Now run along, and hope your anal herpes don't flare up again.

As posted in another thread, I drove 500 miles this weekend and got 16.3 highway and 14 overall. Granted I wasn't stepping on it much, but still not far off from my old Jeep Grand Cherokee. Cruising speed on the highway was around 65-70 MPH.

As people post to this thread indicate whether you have a 2003 and 2004. My suspicion is that there has been an improvement in '04's performance.

1BADH2 10-20-2003 01:48 PM

I get about 8 in city and 12 on highway
