timgco 12-18-2005 10:33 PM

DarthKarl 12-19-2005 12:28 AM

Hope that doesn't mean that the H3 is put away for winter. It's made for the snow and muck

X2, don't put the Hummer away! Get it dirty.

Big Red 12-19-2005 03:05 AM

Do you drive the H3 in the winter???

If not, what do you drive in the winter?

crotch_rocket_pilot 12-19-2005 04:00 AM

Gotta love the bikes!

Webb70 12-19-2005 01:13 PM

Yes it is away for the winter, too much salt on the roads. I drive 1 hour each way to work on the hiway everyday, and dont want to take the chance of bouncing off a gaurd rail or even over a curb. So its all tucked away in my heated garage till spring.

Yes thats a GSX-R1000

I drive a Ford Escape or a Pontiac Sunfire now

(Damn I miss those heated seats)

Such a shame. Such a shame.

Wow, an H3 as a garage queen.

No thanks, I prefer to treat my Porsche Boxster S as the garage queen. And I use the H3 everyday rain or shine (in mostly sunny California).

I agree the 442 is put away, drive the H3 every day.

Webb70 12-19-2005 09:10 PM

Not a garage queen at all. Actually this is the first time since we bought the house in 2001 that there has been a 4 wheel vechical in the garage....Bikes only.

And I do drive it everyday rain or shine up until the first snowfall. Then I decided to park it till the spring. I have 2 other vechicals to use so what the heck, why risk it.

DarthKarl 12-19-2005 09:26 PM

This reminds me of an old sailor's saying:

Ships are safest in harbor, but that's not what ships are built for

MyxH3 12-19-2005 11:05 PM

Man pull that H3 out and drive it like a truck.

not driving the HUMMER in the winter is like owning your 1000 and not ripping a power wheelie once in a while.

Cool, my wife rides the Ex500 Ninja against the wall in the pic.

crotch_rocket_pilot 12-21-2005 02:15 PM

As you can see earlier in the thread, I have a 2004 CBR 600RR. I love anything on 2 wheels, even more than my hummer. Bikes will always be my first love.
